We set out to explore the
Targhee National Forest on snowmobiles. Here we are all lined up
for our assault on the mountain trails.
Spencer demonstrates the
proper throttle position.
The hills were fun, and the
views were awesome.
In spots we felt like we
were on the Bonneville Salt Flats. The only minor problem
was the tops of fence posts peeking up out of the snow.
We got adventurous and went
off-trail and up a mountain. At the top it got narrow and I got
nervous, so here's where we stopped. Note the overhang to the
right.
It started to snow really
hard, so we began to consider going back to the trail.
But first Spencer felt
compelled to climb a tree.
Here's what the way back to
the trail looked like by the time we finally started back. Looks
like our tracks might be covered, right? It's a long story....
